We have the pleasure to invite Radio Amateurs from all over the world together with their families,
friends and sponsors to join us in our first attempt to organise an event which is intended to be "more Party than a Contest". However an HF CW field Contest will take place. We have chosen the Obzor
resort as location. Located on Obzor's beachfront, the Hotel Riu Helios Bay is surrounded by lush gardens overlooking Bulgaria's
wonderful Black Sea.
Program of the Event:Watch Video ![]() 21 May, Friday - Arrival, accommodation, official opening, discutions ; 22 May, Saturday - Technical Conference, discutions, testing the equipment, free time; 23 May, Sunday - Competition First Half - 2 hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 LZT), discutions at the bar ; 24 May, Monday - Competition Second Half - 2 hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 LZT), meeting at the bars ; 25 May, Tuesday - Day off, Official awarding , banquet 26 May, Wednesday - End of the Contest's part and begining of the Holiday's part. 27 May, Thursday - Free time, discutions arround the pool 28 May, Friday - Free time, according to the Hotel's laisure program 29 May, Saturday - Free time, voleyball on the beach, variate 30 May, Sunday - Free time, 31 May, Monday - Departure, EQUIPMENT: Every competitor will use his own transceiver, battery and laptop with logging software. Special 50 ohms impedance dummy antennas will be provided by the organiser. The maximum allowed output power is 5W and will be controlled. All the competitors will be placed on the perimeter of an imaginary circle "right on the beach". BAND AND MODE: 3.5 MHz, CW PARTICIPANTS: Amateur Radio Operators (Please bring your license) CALL SIGNS: Everyone will use his own Call Sign followed by slash /LZ1 The LZ Stations will also add /LZ1 to their Call Signs. Exapmle: LZ1PJ/LZ1 will be used during the contest. All the participant must use ONLY Complete Call Signs otherwise they will be disqualified. EXCHANGE: Six figures: the serial Nr of the QSO and the serial Nr of the last corespondent's QSO. No RST required. See the examle log bellow for first QSO: 001 000 QSO with the same station is allowed after 29 minutes (Any station can be worked once every 30 minutes - on the 30-th minute or after it) . For example : QSO at 00:02 next QSO is OK at 00:32 or later. (The seconds are not important!) POINTS: The unconfirmed QSOs will not count for points. Each valid QSO counts 1 point
The QSO will not bring points to both correspondents if the difference in the times fixed is more than 3 minutes, or there is a mistake in one of the callsigns or in the serial numbers.
FINAL SCORE: The sum of the QSO points.
The QSO will not bring points to the correspondent who has not kept the 30 minutes minimum time for connecting the same station again.
